📍 $2 Trillion: This is what US has spent on its war on Afghanistan since 2001. A Dollar spent is a dollar earned. So if US government was shelling out, then who was receiving it?

🌟 Who was getting richer with this? Needless to say what makes you win a war? Good weapons and no one in the world manufactures better than US homegrown private companies like Lockheed Martin, Boeing, General Dynamics, Raytheon, and Northrop Grumman.

So what? :- Like any other thing, conflicts can also be manufactured.

📍 Weapons makers have spent $2.5 billion on lobbying over the past two decades, employing, on average, over 700 lobbyists per year over the past five years. That is more than one for every member of Congress.- Watson Institute.

Remember, Lobbying is legal in US. Post-9/11 there was a flood of Military contracts, and it still is on as Ukraine fights Russia on US support else it would have perished long back. Few want the world to be in conflict, Who ?

Check the share prices of Lockheed martin or Northrop or any other US defence manufacturer when Russia- Ukraine war started or since 2001 till date.

📍 Trump in hindsight wants to end this global conflict, and he is vocal about it.

“I will end every single international crisis that the current administration has created – including the horrible war with Russia and Ukraine, which would have never happened if I was president, and the war caused by the attack on Israel, which never would have happened if I were president,”- Donald Trump.

Well, this may or may not be the reason for the assassination attempt, but few definitely would not want to see him as US president.
